Night to Shine

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. Join us for a night full of fun as we dance the night away, sing karaoke at the top of our lungs, and crown our honored guests princes and princesses of the night.

This team is responsible for checking in volunteers.

Friday 2/13 6-6:30pm

Volunteers will line the red carpet to celebrate each honored guest as they enter making them feel like a king or queen

Friday Setup Team

Friday 2/13 10am-3pm

Help us decorate and make final preparations as we transform our church into a prom venue

Thursday Setup Team

Thursday 2/12 4:30-6:30pm

Volunteers will move chairs, tables, and other tasks to prepare the space for decorations and final touches. If possible, this team will return at 8:45 pm on 2/13 to help prepare for Sunday

Friday 2/13 6-9:30pm

Serve parents and caregivers as they rest and connect with one another, clean up the room after the event

Welcome volunteers and honored guests on to campus with a smile by directing traffic

Assist caterers with setting up, serving, and replenishing food and drinks throughout the night

Floaters move around the event connecting, dancing, and loving honored guests by initating conversations, encouraging and sparking joy to all those in attendance. May be asked to fill roles as needed, including Shine Buddy

This team is responsible for checking in Honored Guests, verifying their information. This team will also assist with check-out at the end of the night

Activities Team

Activities will be in charge of leading games and other fun activities throughout the night

Shine Buddy

Shine Buddies are paired with honored guests to make sure night is one to remember, assisting them as needed throughout the night. Shine Budddies also get the honor of crowning the honored guests.
